Membership Information Meeting+Lunch
We are hosting our Spring Membership Info meeting right after the service in the gallery.
We'll have lunch and discuss the hows and whys of life and worship at Trinity.
This meeting is especially suited for those who have visited Trinity and want to find out more about what church membership means and why on earth we do *that* on a Sunday but we will also welcome anyone who wants a refresher or those of you who have been coming for a while and want to pursue membership (in other words, the more the merrier!). You'll hear about parishes, eldership, what we believe and what we think God is up to in our city and with our church, along with the opportunity to meet others around Trinity.
There will be some activities provided for children and we hope you'll join us before church.
If you plan to come, a RSVP is helpful as we plan for food and children.
High School/College Night
High School Students and College-Aged/Young Adults at Trinity!
This Fall we’re kicking back off our High School and College gatherings! Over the coming months, we’ll be reading The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis alongside the Westminster Confession of Faith. Our goal is to think clearly about the particular challenges or temptations that are common in our generation—and to grow in how we live as faithful Christians in the midst of that.
These nights will also be a time for good food, activities, singing, and fellowship with one another.
Our first gathering will be at Lakewood Park on September 21st at 5:30 PM, where we’ll enjoy pickleball, dinner, and a time of singing and sharing about God’s work in our lives. You can find the location to Lakewood Park by clicking here.
Additionally, we'll be providing free copies of The Screwtape Letters to our high school and college students this Sunday (9/7) after the service.

Couples Dance Night: Line Dancing 101 with the Bechards
In lieu of a women’s event in October, we will meet in the Riley backyard as a church to learn dance! While this is an adult-only event, called by Micah Bechard, we will have a family at another time!

Fall Lunch Member Meeting
Trinity,
This Sunday in November, we will have our Fall Member Meeting (all are welcome!). During this meeting, we'll come together over lunch to spend time talking about the current state of our church, plans for the rest of the fall and winter, and discuss the things we see God doing in the church and city around us.
Everyone from Trinity, whether a member or attender, is encouraged to join us for this meeting as we take time to give thanks to God for his goodness to us as a church and then ask him to do even more.
We will also have some activities for children during this meeting and would love if you could RSVP but as always, join us regardless of an RSVP!

Trinity Women: Wreath Making
Join us this December to learn how to make your own Christmas Wreath and then make one to give as a gift to a neighbor or friend!
A few details:
1. If you have tree trimmings, wire cutting scissors and/or garden scissors, please bring them along.
2. RSVPs are really helpful as we plan for supplies (and we will plan for extras for the few that didn't sign up.).
3. We will be meeting in the Riley (semi-heated) garage but you might want to wear a sweater or light coat.
4. You can sign up to bring a Christmas themed breakfast item to share in CCB.
5. There will not be childcare but we welcome daughters if they are able to participate in wreath making.

Men + Boys' Camping Trip
Please mark your calendars for our annual men + boys camping trip: we'll head up on Thursday, August 28th and plan to return on Saturday, August 30th. As always, you're welcome to come for one or both nights - whatever works for you and your family.
At this point, we're planning on heading up to the same area that we've been the last few years, around Lost Park - just east of Jefferson.

We hope you can bring a picnic lunch (or grab one right after church nearby) and join us down the street at Hirshorn Park to soak up the summer sun! RSVPs are not required but helpful so we know who to look out for and how much space to grab!
Feel free to bring a lawn game with you (or baseball gloves), picnic blankets, and chairs.
There is a softball field we could use if it's not already in use and a playground for littles to play on. I also have to mention that Little Man is across the street so you might want to end your lunch by grabbing some ice cream before heading home!
We have the church parking lot reserved up until 1pm and street parking is free on Sundays so that is also a longer option if you plan to stay after 1pm.

Trinity Women: Book Discussion and Book Exchange
Join us to discuss Tilly Dillehay's book, My Dear Hemlock, and bring a favorite fictional book (all time or this summer) to trade!
I have yet to finish this book so I am just copying some basic details from Amazon on the book but it following the same format as C.S. Lewis's book, The Screwtape Letters (letters from a demon to his understudy who tries to get a gentleman to turn away from God...in very subtle and sly ways). I'd encourage you to read both, if you're able!
My Dear Hemlock: An exchange of between the diabolical Madame Hoaxrot and her junior devil Hemlock, who are scheming against a young woman’s relationship with her Creator. They plot to sabotage every feature of her life from sex to female friendship to empathy, motherhood, and aging. Ladies, this book will give you the eyes to see the feminine vices that hide behind feminine virtues. A book for every Christian woman: This spiritual novel is presented in an allegorical, fictional tale, a darkly witty tale of feminine temptation and subtle sabotage.
